One-to-One Reading Program

The One-to-One reading program is a literacy program offered at Wiltse Elementary School.  Children in grades one to five who are struggling with one or more aspects of their reading, and who are not receiving other specialized support in the school, are eligible to receive One-to-One tutoring for thirty minutes, three to four times per week for an eight week time period.  Trained volunteer tutors provide a supportive environment, helping to improve reading fluency and comprehension.
