On Friday, October 25th, Pen High, Princess Margaret, and the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan are collaborating to host a Halloween Block Party and Haunted House fundraiser. The events take place downtown at 501 Main Street (Foundry Youth Centre) and on the adjacent side street: Padmore.
Inside the Youth Centre, guests can expect a spooky haunted house. Outside on Padmore Ave, families can tour our all-ages block party. Highlights include glitter tattoos, face paint, inflatable balloon house, professional DJ, photo booth, carnival games and activities for kids, and family crafts and keepsakes to take home! Entry to the Haunted House and Block Party are separate and by donation.
Proceeds will be divided equally between the groups. The Community Foundation of the South Okanagan are putting their funds towards installing an elevator in the Foundry Youth Centre downtown on Main Street to improve accessibility for all youth. Our Maggie Leadership class is raising money for the upcoming winter holiday season to put together food and gift hampers for deserving families here at our school.
It’s a night of guaranteed fun for a very good cause!
