Ready, Set, Learn

Ready, Set, Learn is a program designed to support you in helping your preschooler get ready for school.  As your child's first and most important teacher, you play a primary role in preparing your child for school.  Your child's entry into Kindergarten is an important milestone in life.  Beginning school well makes a big difference in terms of future success in the education system and even on into adulthood.

Many things contribute to a child's readiness for school.  Some of these are:

• Confidence;
• Relationships with friends;
• Language Development;
• The ability to communicate thoughts, needs and desires;
• The ability to follow instructions and routines; and
• An environment that cultivates creativity, motivations, cooperation and persistence.
